How the hell have you been? You've been around but you're never in the here and now. I know we're not talkers but can we try our best? I feel like sleep walkers caught in a spider’s web around you, around myself too. Hanging around on this town like a noose. A dream in the wind straight into the blue. Like a leach on my back I can't reach to remove. "Don't let it get the best of you" they say but it's awfully tempting some days to just turn it off. To just turn it all off.
Red headed in the heat of embarrassment. Eyes are rolling like phosphine Ferris wheels. Old empathy, wash over me. My mind is like gum on the concrete.
Stuck.
I walk a pair of concrete shoes. You are the lake I fall in to. I'll get to the bottom of this. I'll get to the bottom of you.
